Decans are very cool!

Have you ever heard of decans in astrology?
They are something I never paid much mind to, but have been thinking about lately as I’ve been realizing that I have clusters of friends born around the same date in certain signs. And this means they are in the same decan as each other in that sign!
A decan is 10 degrees which equates to ten days. So-
If you were born in the first 10 days of your sign, it is in the 1st decan, if in the middle ten days of your sign, it’s in the 2nd decan and if in the last ten- the 3rd.
The decans follow the element your sign is in (Fire or Earth or Air or Water) so for Aries- the first ten days of the sign would be Aries-Aries, the second 10 days would be Aries-Leo and the third ten days would be Aries-Sadge. Three different shades of Fire!
1st decan of Taurus is Taurus-Taurus, 2nd is Taurus-Virgo, 3rd is Taurus-Capricorn
1st decan of Gemini is Gemini-Gemini, 2nd is Gemini-Libra, 3rd is Gemini-Aquarius
1st decan of Cancer is Cancer-Cancer, 2nd is Cancer-Scorpio, 3rd is Cancer-Pisces
1st decan of Leo is Leo-Leo, 2nd is Leo-Sadge, 3rd is Leo-Aries
1st decan of Virgo is Virgo-Virgo, 2nd is Virgo-Cap, 3rd is Virgo-Taurus
1st decan of Libra is Libra-Libra, 2nd is Libra-Aquarius, 3rd is Libra-Gemini
1st decan of Scorpio is Scorpio-Scorpio, 2nd is Scorpio-Pisces and 3rd is Scorpio-Cancer
1st decan of Sadge is Sadge-Sadge, 2nd is Sadge-Aries and 3rd is Sadge-Leo
1st decan of Cap is Cap-Cap, 2nd is Cap-Taurus and third is Cap-Virgo
1st decan of Aquarius is Aquarius-Aquarius, 2nd is Aquarius-Gemini and 3rd is Aquarius-Libra
1st decan of Pisces is Pisces-Pisces, 2nd is Pisces-Cancer and 3rd is Pisces-Scorpio

I have three friends with birthdays on the same day (Feb 18th) and my oldest friend celebrates her birthday on Feb 25th so they are all in the first decan of Pisces, making them Pisces-Pisces! Seems I love a pure-blooded Pisces:)
Once you start looking at your friend’s birthdays, check to see if you find any decans you seem to prefer!
